Gardening plants is a wonderful hobby and great way to help lower your personal carbon emissions.

Humans and animals need plants to live, and thankfully, they thrive throughout the planet.

But have you ever wondered how to grow potatoes, or how to make sure your lemon tree flourishes and produces fruit?

Whether you have simple window boxes for herbs, you have an indoor fruit bearing bonsai tree, or you have acres to cultivate, gardening is an awesome way to ensure that your foods are healthy and free of chemicals.

In fact, gardening is a growing trend.1

The number of people who planted a garden in 2020 as well as the number of people who added landscaping, turf, and flowers.

When learning to grow food or garden for aesthetics for the first time, you may be worried that you might inadvertently cause your plants to die.

But don’t worry! It’s actually very difficult (if you’re trying to keep a plant alive) to snuff it out. Plants have a remarkable ability to adapt and overcome.

If you don’t believe it, just think about what happens to an abandoned piece of property. It’s usually overgrown (depending on where it’s located) within a matter of months and years.

As long as you keep in mind your third-grade science facts, you’ll generally be fine. And, you can build from there!

Plants need sunlight, water, and food. These three elements can be different depending on the plant you’re cultivating, but learning how to grow any plant isn’t hard.

All it requires is having good stock (seed) and the determination to be a successful gardener.

And, once you’ve begun your gardening journey, the fruits of your labor will be oh-so sweet!
